The May 2026 masterplan uses fewer main buildings, more double-storey or double-height volumes and a different campus layout. It also maps a future expansion concept. The 2023 development approval applies to the earlier plan.

The documents show how FRSA progressively reworked the design after the 2023 proposal was approved. The later stages record design intent and proposed masterplans, not a replacement approval.
Revision brief
FRSA sought a smaller footprint, less fill, closer building clusters, fewer courts and ovals, and greater use of double-storey construction. It stated no material preference and asked that options be assessed for durability and efficiency.

What changed in the design
The first school stage is not the whole planning picture. Traffic, parking, event use, noise, water, wastewater, bushfire and emergency planning may need to consider the completed campus and documented future expansion, not only the first build.

The later masterplan uses fewer main buildings and more double-storey or double-height volumes. The approved design specified rammed-earth wall finishes; by June 2025, FRSA said it had no stated material preference and wanted alternatives assessed for durability and efficiency.
